Chocolate Lava Cake
Treat yourself to this delicious chocolate lava cake! As soon as you put your spoon into the lava cake, the hot chocolate flows out, making every bite a pure treat.🍫😋
Ingredients:
- 40 gr SWEET-SWITCH® 90% Extra Dark Chocolate
- 30 gr buttercream
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 3 tbsp of a sweetener of your choice
- Pinch of salt
- Finish with your favorite toppings (strawberries or raspberries)
Let's bake!
- Preheat the convection oven to 175 degrees. In advance, grease 2 trays (9 cm diameter) with buttercream and sprinkle some cocoa powder over them. Make sure the whole dish is greased and coated with cocoa.
- Bring a layer of water to the boil in a saucepan. Add the chocolate and butter to a heatproof bowl and place it on the pan with boiling water. Melt the chocolate with the steam of the boiling water.
- Beat 2 eggs with an electric mixer until fluffy. When the chocolate and butter have melted, add the vanilla extract and beaten eggs. Stir gently with spatula.
- When everything is well mixed, add the almond flour, sweetener of your choice, cocoa powder and salt. Mix well again with the spatula.
- Pour the batter into the dishes and bake for about 11 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove the dishes from the oven and leave to cool for a minute. Invert the dishes onto the plate on which you will serve them.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries or raspberries 🍓✨
