Chocolate drizzled waffles
This is one of those typical recipes that makes everyone feel good. There are thousands of reasons to bake waffles. They taste great at any time of the day and you can surprise anyone with them.
Ingredients (for 10-12 waffles)
- 250 grams of plain flour
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 200 grams of melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 50 ml of milk
For the toppings
- SWEET-SWITCH® Hazelnut Spread
- Some fresh fruits, like strawberries, blueberries, banana...
- SWEET-SWITCH® Confetti
- Some SWEET-SWITCH® Chocolate of your choice and a dash of heavy cream
Let's get cooking!
- Melt the butter over low heat.
- Gently mix it with the flour.
- Then add in the baking powder, Tagatesse and milk.
- Beat the eggs and add them to the dough.
- Spoon some of the mixture into a waffle iron (if not a Tefal, be sure to coat with extra grease). Continue until the dough is completely used up.
- Eat them immediately or store them in an airtight box for several more days.
- Enjoy with your favourite toppings! Melt some chocolate with some cream and drizzle it over the waffles.
- Get creative with toppings like more SWEET-SWITCH® Hazelnut Spread, fresh strawberries, confetti, or any other fruit that tickles your taste buds.
