SWEET-SWITCH®, what does it stand for?

At SWEET-SWITCH®, our name stands for a important switch in sweeteners, it is our mission to provide healthier alternatives to everyday products that typically contain high amounts of sugar. This vision comes from a personal journey of Sven, our founder, whose dream was to create healthy snacks for his daughters, Margaux and Marilou, as they grew up.

A father's dream

Sven's journey began with a simple wish: to make sure his daughters could enjoy delicious snacks without the damaging effects of sugar. When his daughters were small, Sven often found himself frustrated by the lack of healthy snack options available. The shelves of supermarkets were filled with sugar-containing products, leaving little room for healthy and nutritious alternatives.

Determined to make a switch, Sven took matters into his own hands. He started experimenting with various recipes and ingredients to create a healthier version of his daughters' favorite snack - hazelnut spread. The traditional hazelnut spreads on the market are packed with sugar and palm oil, neither of which lined up with his vision of a nutritious breakfast option for his children.

Sven's dedication paid off when he successfully created a hazelnut spread that was not only delicious but also free from added sugars and harmful fats, like palm oil. This initial product was a game-changer, allowing his daughters to enjoy their breakfast in a healthy way while still enjoying the rich, nutty flavor they loved.

Fun fact: our Hazelnut Spread is still our number one best-seller!

Committed to a healthier future

Committed to a healthier future, Sven expanded his efforts and created SWEET-SWITCH®for everyone, from kids like Marilou and Margaux to adults. Our brand is dedicated to offering a wide range of snacks and products free from added sugars and artificial sweeteners. By using sweeteners like Stevia, Erythritol, and Maltitol, we ensure our products deliver the sweetness you crave without compromising your health.
